ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management) is undergoing its first major revision since it was published in 2018. The Draft International Standard (DIS) for ISO 45001:2027 was released in mid-2026, giving organisations early visibility of what is coming and an opportunity to participate in the public comment period.

In April 2026, the International Organisation for Standardisation published the latest edition of ISO 14001, the world's leading environmental management system standard. The previous edition, ISO 14001:2015, had served organisations for over a decade, but the global conversation around environmental performance has shifted significantly in that time.

The Draft International Standard (DIS) for ISO 9001:2026 was released on 27 August 2025 and has been formally approved by ISO member bodies. Publication is expected in September 2026, with a three-year transition period giving organisations until approximately September 2029 to update their Quality Management Systems (QMS).
